Newcastle and beaches

Duration: 45 minutes.

Your flight leaves Cessnock to follow the Hunter River to Newcastle Harbour and the coast.

To the north you will see Stockton Beach – all 20 miles of it! Your flight then heads south past Red Head Beach to the sandbars of Swansea Inlet, with Caves Beach just south.

Flying across Lake Macquarie you head towards the Watagan Mountains, which you cross as you re-enter the Hunter Valley to fly over the town of Cessnock before landing.
